Ok first off, hi to everyone, I'm new and this is my first post.

I was looking for a case upgrade since the one that I bought some months ago when building the pc is waaaay too cheap (36€, I'm not even gonna tell you the mess there's inside it). Since the components inside it are not cheap nor so much low-end I was looking around for a case that would fit them fine AND that looks good.

I was going with the 650d when I saw that awful usb 3 connector. Is that case still crippled by that feature? Has Corsair upgraded it with an internal header yet?

If not, I guess I will move onto another case but then again, which one?

Here are my choices and I was asking you for a little advice (keep in mind I have a limited budget, around 150€ not more):

Corsair Graphite 600t

Corsair Carbide air540 (even if I don't like the form factor that much)

Antec Twelvehundred

or... what?

Thank you all in advance

welcome to the LinusTechTips forum,

well the 650D and 600t use the same front panel i/o for USB 3.0, the cable

pass-through idea. not a real problem, Silverstone has the answer.. LINKY

Fractal Design R4 or Arc Midi are usually way under the price in budget. and

use the standard USB 3.0 mobo header.

again welcome and enjoy LinusTechTips forums

The Corsair Carbide air540 is a very good choice, it makes builds look very clean, it's very easy to build in them, it has 1 downside however, they only give you 2 HDD bays at the bottom, which I don't think is enough for anyone (Unless you get 2 x 4TB drives). Other than that this case is overall perfect, watercooling and air cooling both work extremely well.

Hm so I guess I will have to deal with it and buy an adaptor... and unfortunately they don't sell the R4 windowed version here in italy

what about the Vengeance C70? It's my last choice but I don't know if it is big enough, seems like the cable management grommets are very few.
