you prolly won't get the 2400MHz speed as advertised with that mobo.

if it won't cost any money on your end, then swap. if you gotta pay for return

shipping,then simply use the RAM and realize max speed might only be

1866MHz.

have been able to manually OC to higher speeds. also, your memory controller

might not keep up, unless VCCIN voltage is increased (AUTO - 1.7ish) to 1.95v

or less (1.8v)

i'm sorry I'm new to all this lol i don't understand what exactly you meant. so basically i won't benefit from having the 2400 MHz? should i return it and get one with lower speed? or should i keep this one?

can i increase the speed from 1866? by oc the motherboard maybe? i guess what I'm trying to ask is. is there a way to increase that 1866MHz to anything higher?
