New build, Gigabyte 980ti no signal to monitor

So I just built a new computer for the first time. It seems like it works fine when you first look at it, all the LEDs are lit and all fans are spinning. Altough when I connect my monitor I just get "NO SIGNAL" So I haven't even installed windows yet.
My monitor is an AOC G2460PG 144hz G-Sync that is brand new. It's connected through DisplayPort since it's the only thing that's supported by the monitor.

I've tried restaring, plugging everything out and in and waiting. Also tried using only 1 stick of Ram
Maybe the Graphics card is broken?
Would really appreciate if someone could help me since I spent a lot of time and effort building this thing which is kind of my dream computer

My Specs:
Intel I7-6700k
MSI Krait Z170A
Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 16 GB 3000mHz
Gigabyte 980 Ti G1 Gaming
Corsair Ax860w Powersupply
Nzxt Kraken x61

install windows

ask a friend or someone to plug your monitor into there computer and if it still doesnt work your monitor or display cable is broken.

if it works then rma your gpu.

You also might need to go buy some displayport cable yourself cause that could be the broken thing.

Today I went to my friends house and tried everything. The issue was just my carefulness, I didn't push the display port to the screen enough. Thanks for the help bro :)
