So I fixed the mouse issue I had earlier, but once I started the game and it finished loading, nothing happened. The loading icon went away and there was a black screen, nothing else. I gave up on it since it was pissing me off but now I really want to play it. Any help?

I tried changing from fullscreen to borderless window. I made sure the res was the same as my monitor, and I even tried turning it down and doing a full-on windowed mode at like 720p, but it did the same exact thing. I'm on Crimson 15.11.1 drivers with an R9 290.

To be more clear, I click new game, it goes and starts loading, it's a black screen with the little loading icon. Then as soon as that goes away, the screen is just black and I can't do anything else but close the game.

Did you try running your Steam as Admin?

Didn't work.

AMD drivers aren't really the best drivers. Not knocking AMD but they aren't to par with Nvidia. What about restarting PC?

They are a lot better IMO, just really buggy in this particular game. Especially with Crimson, it was a total win but not for this game.

No luck.

Try this. Delete the Driver and than remove all remaining driver files with the tool "driver fusion". Reinstall the driver.
