I need help choosing parts for a cheap fast gaming pc. I want a good one that runs 8GB ram in 1080p. With a good cooling system, at least 1TB memory.

1TB of Storage*

(In the tech world, Memory would typically be referring to RAM, whereas Storage would refer to your HDDs or SSDs)

Budget?

Colour preferences?

Games you want to run?

Framerate you want the g ames to run at?

Size preferences?

Noise preferences?

Need a keyboard/mouse/monitor/OS included?

If you scrounge with the other parts you can get it closer to $500 since he only wants 1080p. Best place is to check the local flea market. I see 1080p monitors for $60 or less all the time. and although you won't get CherryMX keyboards and the best mice for $40, I'm using one of those funky Microsoft keyboards on my main for right now until I can get something better for a super cheap price.

I heard that I need to get Windows on my pc, do I need that, and if I do how do I get it?

Make a bootable flash drive with Windows on it using Rufus or something like that and set your BIOS to boot from the flash drive.

im not very good at this, am i?

thousand bucks with all in, with bias towards intel/nvidia.

you can make it cheaper by going Ati route with an A10 APU. Im guessing you got the ballpark figure of 600 when comparing to a current gen console? you can also try to skip the computer monitor and connect your rig to your television, but doing web browsing on your couch during your happy time will not end well for you, if you know what i mean.

this is close to 700 bucks. im sure you can find better deals on the monitor and operating system. APU will play most current games at a decent enough fidelity at 1080. you also have decent headroom for upgrade. another 2x4gb of ram? no problem, mobo has 4 slots. you want to play more graphically demanding games? drop in a ATI card and turn on multi gpu support. you want to run crossfire? uhh, it can be done. but why?
