The Seagate hard drives are reliable drives.I have heard that these drives are not reliable and failures fast,so I want to ask you.

i want to buy Seagate barracude 2TB hard drive for mostly storaging games and files and a little render videos in it.It is good for these things?

I had a Seagate 1TB drive that only lasted me 2-3 years. I purchased another one this year and its been ok so far but only time will tell. I have heard a lot of people complaining about how they are not the greatest drives as well. I would go with a WD.

Intel Core i7-6700k | 2 X Gigabyte 4GB GTX 970 Overclocked Edition | 16GB (4X4GB) DDR4 2133MHz Corsair Dominator Platinum | MasterCase Pro 5

ASUS Z170 Deluxe Motherboard | 256GB Samsung 840 Pro + Seagate 2TB Storage | Corsair Hydro H80i GT | Windows 10 Pro 64bit | Corsair HX850i

The only drives that were a problem were the 7200.1 drives from years and years ago.  They don't exist anymore.  Unless you buy hundreds and hundreds of drives you will always have a dud sample from company A or company B.  And anything from Backblaze is unreliable at best and deceiving at worst.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.

Including tax and delivery? Probably not. Cheapest I found was like $83

If you're looking for a 3TB, your best bet for staying under $85 would probably be this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/toshiba-3tb-internal-serial-ata-iii-hard-drive-for-desktops-multi/7479294.p?id=1218847154464&ref=199&loc=8BacdVP0GFs&acampID=1&siteID=8BacdVP0GFs-B2Zp_9cVGzSavyGLiJmYpQ

Though even then, tax may still push it over budget in some states.

AFAIK, it's just a rebranded HGST Deskstar 7k3000.
