Unplayable input lag [HELP]

So my previous thread about Runner 2 having horrible stuttering got no replies, but I discovered it WAS my monitor's 75hz refresh rate causing issues with the game's terrible 60hz FPS cap. So I decided I might as well use VSR, as my GPU has no issues throwing out 60FPS at 3200x1800.

 

I am using a PS3 controller for the game, and before, the input latency was not an issue, but it is unplayable now. Could VSR be causing this? Its nearly half a second input delay. The game looks SO MUCH BETTER though...
