Hey, I'm very into web developing and minor gaming, and I'm looking for a new system, with importance placed on screen real estate rather than raw performance, although I do like to play some pretty demanding titles at times, so some raw performance is needed, too.

Some notes:

  • My budget is 1000-1200 GBP.
  • I want minimum three monitors of a minimum 21.5" and 1920x1080.
  • I only game on one of those monitors, so I don't need a GPU to run multi-monitor gaming.
  • I want an additional 1TB drive of good performance - my internet is poor (ironically) and I prefer to have my games all downloaded.
  • I already own a 120GB SSD, a 500GB HDD, a 650W PSU, a Midtower Case, but I really would like fresh everything. It's worth throwing things in, though.

Thank you!

Do the monitors have to be in the budget? And are we talking IPS monitors? (for the web-devolopment) or just normal TN panels.

Not too fussed, but yeah, they are.

Here's my two cents, 380 for great gaming at 1080p, xeon for multitasking and allowance for greater use, cheap cooler to let it stay at its turbo boost, solid asus board, and 3 ips 23" asus panels, easily gamable on, and great viewing angles and color reproduction.

Only thing I would change is the 3TB HDD to a WD or Seagate instead. Or get a smaller HDD and a better SSD like a Samsung 850 EVO. Monitors seems decent but can easily be upgraded. For example a gaming monitor with low latency. But that is not that neaccasary if you just plays casual.

the evo was a good deal more expensive, but theres room in the budget.

and the hitachi has far better reliability than both seagate and wd, and was far cheaper for a 3tb model. again though, theres still plenty of wiggle room in the budget.
