Monitor Suggestion for Christmas Present

Hello Everyone!

I'm not super familiar with monitor technology so hopefully you can help me. I want to get my girlfriend a fancy new monitor for Christmas. She is a graphic designer and casual gamer. She said she wanted to get something that was visually amazing and was at least 60 frames per second and had very good color accuracy with RGB stuff since she does a lot of graphic work. My budget is $1000 or less so I just want to find the best monitor for art that also can do some casual gaming here and there like GTA of Fallout. Also she has a GTX 970 Graphics card.

Thanks in advance for your help!  :)

The ASUS PA279Q would be a good choice if she does work in the AdobeRGB color space. Otherwise, the Dell U2715H would be a better value.

I like the Asus recommendation. How well would it do in gaming?
