Hi. I was using my PC just fine yesterday and now, after I press the power button, the fans spin for a quarter of a second and then everything is off. This is the second time it happens tough, last time it did the same thing and after a few hours I turned it on again and worked like nothing. Even turning it on without the RAM, which would cause the motherboard speaker to beep like a mad man, does nothing different. Disconnected the GPU, same result. Disconnected all hard drives, same. Not even the debug indicator turns on for more than a jiffy so I can't tell what the issue is.

The 1 second video shows exactly what it does (at least I attached one, was only 1.6 Mb)

ASRock 970 Extreme4 Motherboard

AMD 6300FX Processor

ASUS GTX 950

HyperX DDR3 1600 MHz 4 Gb RAM

Samsung 850 Evo SSD (Boot drive)

2 other generic hard drives

Corsair HX 750W power supply

Phantom 530 PC case with all fans in original config

Try hitting the MemOK! button on the motherboard near the RAM slots.

I can't find any buttons near the RAM. If you meant the Clear CMOS button then I pressed it, even removed the motherboard battery and disconnected power supply. But a MemOK button was not found

My only thought would be the PSU not supplying proper power or somting along those lines , if you have a 2ndary PSU I suggest trying that

Sadly I don't have another one to test with, but I used to have a GTX 295 which I'm aaaaalmost certain uses more power than my GTX 950 tough I can't confirm that, and it used to work fine. And yesterday the OC was running just fine, playing Watch_Dogs and all.

  • 2 weeks later...

Seriously still having issues. I hold down the power button and it's like I'm starting up a car. Sometimes it loads like nothing ever happened and most times it just decides not to work. When it actually does work, it's perfect. I use the AIDA64 stress test for like 5 minutes and everything still works normal. But after turning it off, it just won't...
