Help Adding RAM

Hey guys so i want to get more ram for my pc. I have 2x4gb kingston hyperx fury red atm. Im wondering if i can buy the black version of their ram. Is it the same and just a different color or does it have different voltage/speed? Also will i just be able to plug it in and its good to go or do I have to configure it in some way. Any help is appreciated.

yeah, it should be fine if it's the same speed and timings are listed. you don't need to configure it

Yep, should be fine. I have to say though, if you're gonna spend that money you may be better off getting one 8GB stick, giving you the option to easily upgrade to 16GB in the future if you saved up some more.
