overclocking help with c2d

i have intel core 2 duo, i would like to have couple more fps on gta v with my 550 ti, i have overclocked gpu already and got stable clock, but can i overclock my cpu with asrock g31m-gs. it's running right now 2,80ghz, stock cooler idle 35c and full load 45c... + i have 120mm fan blowing right into heatsink. how much can i oc it? youtube hasn't gave me the right information what i needed, so can you help me? :3

Research what some safe voltages are for it and see how far you can get it stable at a safe voltage, 45c is pretty good so you should be able to push it a bit more.

i try 3,4ghz with 1.36v im gonna tell u soon what happened ("- max safe voltage for any wolfdale CPU: 1.36v (safe because no CPU degradation is done")
