Computer not recognizing Kindle Fire 1

I am trying to install Android on my first generation Kindle Fire since it became stuck in a boot loop a while ago. I had used Kindle Fire Utility a while ago (like a year or two ago), and had installed TWRP to try and get out of the boot loop. I am trying to re-install TWRP on my Kindle with my new desktop and it wont even recognize my Kindles existence. It will charge, but wont show its detected. Please Help. Thanks
