pixeldensity
Go to solution Solved by pixeldensity,

so i went and bought a sandisk ssd plus 240 gb for 54.99.

so i was planning on buying an ocz arc 100 120GB ssd for start up and maybe a game or two. Does anybody own this ssd or know about it and can give me their thoughts whether it would be a good buy

they have a bad reputation because most of them were faulty, try getting an OCZ trion or A Sandisk SSD Plus

They've got a very easy RMA process though from what I've heard if anything goes wrong

I have it. Works fine. According to benchmarks it's not as good as Crucial or Samsung, but I knew that going into it. I don't really care as long as it's faster than HDD's, and it is.

240 GB ssd's are literally 10-20 dollars more and preform MUCH MUCH BETTER than their 120 GB counterparts 0/10 would NEVER recommend.

yes, they offer instant replacement most of the times, but no one wants a faulty product out of the box, or after 2-3 months of use ;)

The site has changed....

I've also had one for almost a year. It's worked finely and is fast enough in my use case that I never get I/O bottlenecks.
