New NEED HELP

Hi I'm a new subscriber to the LinusTechTip channel and his recent video Build the Perfect Gaming PC -Holiday Buyer's Guide 2015(

) caught my eye. In truth i have wanted to create my own PC for a while but have been slightly overwhelmed by all the options so have been just buying gaming laptops that are pre-made. Nevertheless, this years mid-level budget of 1000 dollars was really interesting, and has me committed to making a PC with that part list. The only problem is that I don't know which one of Linus's build tutorials I should watch to make this specific PC, and am also struggling to find a good list of peripherals to go with this part list. If anyone could help me I would be SUPER thankful.

 

Also as far as the budget for everything my budget is around 1800 including peripherals, but that could maybe stretch a few hundred dollars, but I'm not swimming in money so sticking as close to that would be ideal.

This video Linus made is really complete, in my opinion, and should suit you for most of your builds, it's time coded and everything

I saw that video but it missing a lot of the parts from the new video. I am sure its due to the fact that this video is from a few years back but is it safe to assume that if I just swap out the parts that he spoke of in this video for the new parts in the 2015 video I should be fine?
