Senheiser HD 558s vs HD 515s?

Ok guys, this is my final post before i purchase my sound card and headphones to upgrade my audio expierence. We managed to narrow it down to a Asus Xonar DG 5.1 sound card but that still leaves the headphones. We narrowed them down to a pair of the senheiser 500 series. But im torn between paying more for the HD558s over the HD 515? Anyone got anythoughts

Yeh i thought that too haha, but there on my head, so i wont be seeing them much

Cool I have the same sound card  . But it really comes down to can you hear the difference. There is a difference, but can YOU hear it? That's where the narrowing gets tough is the slight differences in playback. If you can, try them out first before buying, head over to http://www.head-fi.org/ if no one gives you a straight answer here. The folks there will definitely have an answer for you.

Cool I have the same sound card  . But it really comes down to can you hear the difference. There is a difference, but can YOU hear it? Positional audio in gaming, but i also love my music, but none if it is base heavy. I play games like Battlefield 3, DayZ etc where positional audio is important.
