Blue yeti is USB, sound card won't affect it at all.

Hey guys,

 

So I just bought a new blue yeti since it was on sale. Currently I use a hyperX cloud headset, but the mic quality is abysmal with my integrated soundcard.

 

Would getting a new sound card benefit my Blue Yeti performance at all? I've heard that it has an external sound card built in so I'm not sure. Thanks.

The Blue Yeti runs through USB.

 

EDIT: Assuming you're not using the Pro version via XLR.
