Steam messed up my audio drivers?

Exotion

So basically I just downloaded windows 10, installed drivers for my ROG Maximus VI Formula, set up my audio as I wanted it, poof, steam couldn't launch any games.
I googled a bit and figured out I had to make the games launch as admin, so to test I started with cs:go, as I kinda wanted to go surf.
Turns out when I restarted my pc, my audio drivers cut off. I can see them display sound when I open the sound manager thing, but no sound is coming through my headphones (HyperX Cloud) :/

Anyone that can help, please?

dont look at steam as the culprit. Windows 10 seems to have very frequent issues with sound.

Fully update windows and then start looking for solutions
