New Motherboard Packaging

Just curious. The last 2 motherboards i have bought have come with the box unsealed and no seal on the anti static bag. Which is unlike the last graphics cards i have bought. Those came with the box sealed and the anti static bag was sealed to. Was just curious seems better to ask the masses than to ask a retailer.

I have yet to come across a sealed motherboard box/bag.

 

I would assume it varies with the manufacturer, but generally i dont think the bags are sealed.

 

EDIT: Come to think about it, I have received MOBO boxes with shinkwrap, but never any tape or anything. I have also had them without said wrap

When in doubt, re-format.

My new ASUS Z170i PRO GAMING came with no seal on either. It's just how they're packaged.

Ok thanks for your replies. Just would of thought they would of been sealed.
