OK so i plugged a protable usb into my computer and now my mass hdd has dissapared. wtf just happend.

Does it appear under Device Manager in the Control Panel?

Did you accidentally unplug it?

no. i put a usb into a usb 3.0 slot and then its just gone evrything that was running when it was open has crahsed.

not yet i will try. i will reboot and unplug and plug back in and see what happens

Is that an internal HDD? If yes, is it your system drive or do you just use it for storage?

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

its is. I rebooted the system and now its back. why do you think this would have happed

Sometimes restarting a computer will work magic. :)

 

It's probably just a little glitch in the system - little things like that happen sometimes. Unless it happens every time you plug a USB into your computer I wouldn't worry about it.
