dual hdmi?

I wanted to buy a 2nd monitor but I can't have more than 1 hdmi in my gpu plugged in, I read that there is a HDMI to dual HDMI splitter ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HDMI-Male-To-Dual-HDMI-Female-1-to-2-Way-Splitter-Adapter-Cable-For-HD-TV-32-5CM-/331600635527?hash=item4d34f02687:g:OqoAAOSwyQtVnMpT )
Would it somehow decrease quality or something if I used it for two monitors? what are the cons for it if there are any

IF it works, it will probably just show the same thing on both screens.

I think you'd be better off just buying a dvi to hdmi cable.

It'll show the same image on both monitors, you can't expand the image. Get a dvi to hdmi or displayport to hdmi adapter.

You can get a DVI-D to HDMI cable (or adapter) or Display Port to HDMI
