At the moment the only rad in my setup is a Hardware Labs Black ICE 240 54mm thick rad with 4 Corsair SP120s in push/pull on it. I have my i7 4970k and GTX 970 in the loop. Both are mildly overclocked.

I have space to fit a slim 240 rad in the bottom of the case if i take one set of fans off the front rad.

Will this give much improvement? As it is, the second set of fans literally rest on the back end of the gpu, so would make this less stressed if i were to add the second rad.

Cheers for any advice.

Welcome to the Forums!

If you can fit another 120mm rad or 240mm rad ideally it would provide better cooling as of right now your at the bare minimum of 120mm rad space per component.

Rear fans are 80mm, i have a cheap high airflow fan in there now (intake) as my VRM was getting a bit too hot for my liking, 60+ degrees c. and a 120mm fan above it (exhaust) sucking the hot air out.

Will try and squeeze the 240mm in the bottom, I do have a 120mm thick rad that I think will squeeze in the back half of the case with a bit of modification...

Will have to get a 60mm tank for my res, but the back panel has a 120mm fan location right where the pump/res combo is, so I'd put my 120mm rad and fan on the bottom and put the smaller res/pump on top. :)

You may lose 2-3° cooling-capacity when going only for push on the thick rad, but an additional 240 slim rad will drastically improve your temps beyond what you´ve lost.

I think your new capacity will equal to a thick 360 in push.

btw: nice choice of a case!
