If for some reason you wanted the "left" speaker on the right side, you can just change the RCA connectors to it's opposite. Put the red plug into the white port and the white into the red port.

im using speakers from 2003 and they dont have a marking and there flip floped because i needed room for the subwoofer

 

Go into a game or something with directional sound and you could be able to find out which speaker is which that way.

Right click the sound icon > Playback Devices > Select the speaker output > Select Configure > Test

The test will tell which speaker is which.

This can also optimize your sound for the speakers you are using.
