I've used a few of the RAT's and they make me want to puke.

I used one... Lasted as long as i wanted a extra button mouse

then i discovered Logitech and 10 buttons

They're terrible mice for the price, with poor build quality and looks- where you could easily get something better at the same price from Steel Series, Corsair, or Logitech.

I'll likely get this mouse, thanks for recommending it. Also you wouldn't know if it has a reputation to last, would you? I believe Corsair should be great quality..

This mouse has a full metal housing and is amazing, it's got three sets of adjustable weights on the bottom so you can tune it to your liking. I've got one and my brothers got one- it's amazing.

Like I always say, you could beat someone to death with it and it'd still be fine afterwards.

Got a RAT 3 for $60 at Walmart.. i thought it was amazing at the time... might be just because that was my first gaming mouse

Corsair M65 is only 60$, Logitech G502 is only 68$, and the Steel Series Rival is only 65$, all better mice for the same or slightly more.

Also, if you can get it at Walmart (talking about PC stuff) chances are it isn't that good.

G502. Best overall mouse for general use, Moba or FPS gaming, and editing. It's a huge upgrade coming from a regular laser mouse or any other gaming mice. The sensor is damn near perfect.

The size of the mouse is quite narrow and made my hand crampped for the first few days. I thought that was a deal breaker so

I ended up returning it. Butx later rebought it because I simply CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IT.

Actually I think I will get this one, thanks for all the recommendations guys.

Also you wouldn't know whether you can change the dpi buttons? I just dislike dpi buttons and will only find them annoying if you cant use them for anything else.

Yes, Every button besides left and right click mouse buttons are programmable to any key/function/shortcuts.
