My Corsair C70 solid window, finished.

I finally Did My solid window Mod. I had some 1/4" Lexan Kicking around so the Mod Cost next to nothing. I Like it. How About you guys?

 

 

Anyone doing this i highly recommend 1/4 inch or 5mm Lexan (Polycarbonate) or acrylic. Don't waste your time with Plexiglas its melting point is to low and chips out and cracks when being tooled. It also scuffs very easily.

 

1. 1/4 inch think is easier to work with(cut and drill) than 1/8

 

2. There is less space to make up on the back(screw) side.

Looks really good, I personally hate those windows with the fan mounts and the mesh/holes in the actual window... looks terrible

looks nice I personally don't see the point in a window if they add fan mounts it ends up looking worse than a plain black panel

Yeah I hated not being able to see my Components very well. Haven't decided if im going to light it yet.

To me those fan mounts were just another entrance for dust into my rig.

Thanks. wasn't to bad but I have real good tool set up. Drill press makes this mod so much easier.
