Hello everyone!

I was wondering if I can use this kind of adapters https://p.jarcomputers.com/680x680/CASECBL4TO6PIN_680x680.jpg to power Gigabyte's GTX 950 OC.
Since I have older PSU and only have 2 free 4 pin adapters and no 6pin adapter.
The PSU is 450W.
I made the watts test and I need only 335W for the upgraded version and 312W for the one I use atm.

Thank you for your time and I'm sorry for the lack of details I can open the case if more details around the PSU are needed

PS. I've noticed there are adapters with 2 male 4pins going to 1 6pin will the one I linked do the same job as those or I need the latter?

Doing this kind of connector could work, but you could always just go with a new psu if you can afford it as it would be much more stable and up to date :)

If you need adaptions for your PSU it's highly advised that you get a better PSU first :P Also, you should consider getting an R9 380 instead, the XFX 4GB model is $169 last time I checked and will perform better.

I do understand that is better to get new PSU but I'm aiming to change everything in 2 years and get a whole new rig but atm only the GPU is problematic that's why I was wondering if such adapter solution will work.

ATX -450W is the PSU not sure if this makes any diffrence from what I saw the 2 free 4pins are extentions to cables that are already pugged to the HDD and the DVD which I dont really use tho.
