I have a Samsung 840 PRO 128GB SSD i bought 2 months and a half ago. I was wondering i used it as a primary storage though i shouldn't of now my wear leveling on the drive from the S.M.A.R.T ID Wear leveling  is count 12. The current value and worst value is 99 and its 0.60TB meaning i already written 600 Gigs of files worth to my SSD so i saw somewhere online that someone was trying to see how long a Samsung 840 PRO 256GB one would last by trying to destroy it and writing i believe 10GB of files to it, correct me if I'm wrong but... He had 450 for the raw data so what my question is.. Is my SSD still okay or when it reaches like 99 raw data in ID 177 wear leveling count my ssd will not work anymore? I've tried very hard to not write so much files to my solid state drive but i've seen people use them as primary storage but this is also my Boot OS drive too. I'm using my 1tb WD HDD as just for video storage, should i change the way i use this? I do not want to have to ask samsung to RMA this because i still want to be able to use this for at least 4 years more before i even have to bother to do that kind of stuff.

Questions that need to be asked like on top to rephrase everything since I'm not 100% that technical with stuff.

1. My ssd is at 12 raw data right now and it says the worst value meaning probably it'll fail at 99, does this mean i should limit even more of what I'm doing so far which is pretty much i have all my software on my ssd and i'm using my hard drive as a storage for videos once nvidia gets to work on that shadowplay driver and releases it to the public. I really don't want to RMA this if its truly getting close to failing.

2. I saw @ http://www.anandtech.com/show/6459/samsung-ssd-840-testing-the-endurance-of-tlc-nand that their raw data was 450 and it says 55 is their current and 55 is the worst values so should i be worried or is my ssd going to last a very long time? I've never used a ssd till 2 months ago and i love the speed of bootups and so on. I'm very happy but scared i just wasted money if it's going to die every year-2 years because of how i'm cramming up everything on the 128Gig ssd. Should i be worried? and why not? Also if their raw data is 450 is mine supposed to be higher tolerance than that of TLC nand because the 128gb has MLC nand.

Can someone answer these questions I pasted a paint of the samsung s.m.a.r.t.

Your ssd will probably outlive the rest of your entire system. RMA it if and when it stops working.

I also have one more question if someone can answer this. After 1 month of owning the drive my ssd won't authenticate even though it doesn't do jack squat but say your SSD is legit and made by Samsung and not a fraud. As you can see in the picture it says in orange i guess "FAILED TO AUTHENTICATE" Why is my SSD like that. I can't authenticate my ssd anymore

It will? I'm not even sure whats the lifespan of the SSD. Can someone tell me? I've tried researching to see what it might be but no clue.

From here: http://us.hardware.info/reviews/4178/10/hardwareinfo-tests-lifespan-of-samsung-ssd-840-250gb-tlc-ssd-updated-with-final-conclusion-final-update-20-6-2013

"With an average lifespan of 75 years for the TLC memory chips, consumers have absolutely nothing to worry about. It doesn't mean the SSD will actually last 75 years, but the number of available write cycles will not be the bottleneck"

You have the 840 Pro which is MLC and should last even longer than a ssd using TLC.

For an 840 Pro probably 6+ years because there is no moving parts

Yea but thats not the problem what I'm wondering is how long before my ssd dies because the wear level on the nand will eventually/later be dead from being written over on. I want to know how long it'll last and only information i need to know is about how long the MLC nands will last at the rate I'm going

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Also, there's no picture.

The image of my drive is ^

Ahh, the image didn't show up before.

It says "FAILED TO..." its blocked alittle but it says FAILED TO AUTHENTICATE meaning authenticate the drive and i'm wondering why it doesn't work

See if you can't RMA your drive because of this.
