Surface 3/Pro 3 Linux support have gotten progressively better with Type Cover being natively supported by the mainline kernel and GNOME 3.18 touchscreen.[

What I was looking for, but yikes that's expensive!

Also Zet

Thanks for the support :P

The most powerful CPU in a tablet is the VAIO Z canvas. Which has a Quad-core mobile CPU.

I wasn't looking for most powerful, I was just looking for a bang for the buck Tablet, with a decent CPU. Literally nothing too special :P it was only a project.

What about the normal surface. It has an Intel Atom.

X220t/X230t will beat the shit out of any (apart from the surfacebook) tablet

If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough it will be believed.

...Still not the point...

Surface? Like the surface one?

You wanted a tablet with a good cpu, which the x230t has because it has a propper non ultra low voltage cpu. The i7 version of the x230t is equal to about an i5-5300u. The x230t also has great native support for linux.
