Hi, I am trying to overclock my GTX 780 using EVGA Precision X although when I try to overclock it and go into a game, it downclocks to exactly 692 mhz when under any sort of load. But when it isn't under any sort of load it is running perfectly fine. Is there any way to fix this? I tried using K-Boost but it does the same thing.

Sounds like a driver issue perhaps, what driver are you on?  Have you tried restarting your PC as well?

I'm on the latest driver 359.00 and yes I have restarted

That's the second time I've seen somebody have that problem on that driver. Perhaps try 353.62, or 358.59? May fix the issue.

I figured it out. I was using overboost on Precision X which was causing it to happen. I turned it off and it's all good now. Thanks anyway!
