Xbox One or Xbox 360 controller for PC?

X1 Controller has superior d-pad but some people say the triggers are awful compared to 360's. If it matters, i dont play fighting games.

So should I just go for the classic best controller (360) or the new one? And another thing, are all games compatible with x1 ? Because 360's controller is definetely compatible with all the games.

I've been playing games just fine with my Xbox One controller, including Batman Arkham City.

Yeah, I would like to know about shooters because they use the triggers. I just want to know about the triggers because its the only change that maybe is bad from x360.

Well, I had the 360 controller for my pc for 3 or 4 years and I loved it, but after switching to the x1 controller, I wouldn't go back for anything, it's just awesome

The Xbox One shoulder RT and LT buttons feel amazing, they're like butter, they're soft and meant to be touch sensitive to how hard you press them.  The RB and LB buttons don't have as much feel as the Xbox360 buttons but their location and reliability is the same as the 360, the XB1 controller is superior in both shoulder buttons and dpad.

The Xbox One controller acts just like the 360 when in game (so if the game supports the 360 controller it will support the One controller  ).

In my opinion the Xbox One controller feels a lot better than the 360 controller (it's newer, so I kinda expect it to be better...), and with the wireless dongle for the one controller there is really no disadvantages to it  :) . (Unless you're on OSX, because then it's a hassle to get it working properly ;) )

I would personally go with the 360 controller because it's cheaper. But to each their own.
