Should I buy Fallout 4? The graphics don't bother me if they aren't really up to par but I need to know that the game play and other things that make a fallout game are there.

Basically you can answer with a yes or no and tell me why.

Why don't you just try before you buy. If you like it, go out and actually buy it

OP do this.

But don't be a little shit and keep on "trying it"

If you like what the developers made, support them and buy the game when you think you like the game.

Of course, I always do!

Jesus, why don't we have a Fallout 4 megathread at this point.  PC Gaming is literally flooded with FO4 threads daily.

No, don't buy it.  It is a bad Fallout game, medicore RPG, and a decent shooter.

  • 4 dialogue options.  This makes any kind of RPing virtually impossible.
  • No "Intelligence", or the like, dialogue options.  So you cannot solve issues with using your intelligence, or science, or  anything.
  • Voiced MC.  While this is okay for games not revolving around RP, it destroys the sense of self immersion and molding of your own character.
  • Turned skills into perks.  Want to pick that lock?  Too bad, level up that perk.
  • Buggy AI.
  • Buggy game.
  • Small map.
  • Nothing to do outside of questing and exploring being finished.  RPing isn't much a thing in Fallout 4.
  • Settlements is okay.  It could have been polished much more.
  • Modding guns is pretty decent.  I liked min-maxing.

I think the map size is around teh same as the other games. I think it's way more detailed and dense though. Also, therre is other things to do besides exploring and questing. Settlements. Do agree about teh dialog options though. Seems to console-ly to me and I wish it was like the original.

Absolutly Yes.

At first the Map seems smaller this time. And i guess it is, but when you reach Boston, the Game overthrow you with Locations and Quests.

People who are whining about this and that, never played a Bethesda Game bevore. Fallout4 has the same weakness like all Bethesda Games, but it also has the same strength and added some cool stuff.

Ya, the roleplaying isnt realy there, but im an explorer and here the Game delivers 100%.
