So I just built a computer at my moms house about an hour ago. And at first everything was well. Until started playing dota. Then for some reason i get this weird annoying buzzing noise. Its only when i start a game though. If i go on youtube everything is fine. If I tab out of the game it is fine. Idk what the problem is.I can use front ports because if I do apparently My mic is very quiet and staticy

If you can give us more information we will be able to have a more accurate solution for you. What are your specs? Where is the buzzing coming from a audio device or from your tower? things like that

Thanks for summing up the first two responses :)

Have you tried flashing a new bios on? I had an audio problem and some how it worked.

When's the last time you re-installed Windows? Also, your video card may be emitting EMI, causing the buzzing noise when it's under a good load

I don't know about the second issue... but here is my two bits (lol)  on the first issue

I believe you are experiencing coil whine or EMI (electro-magnetic Interference).

Coil whine can be from a few sources; most notably the GPU and power supply. If it is a "Budget" PSU this would be the first thing I would check (I know you said the "buzzing" was from your Headset).

If you are using audio drivers that utilize your GPU (I know Nvidia uses these) then I would see if the buzzing persist across multiple games. If it does try a different driver. (maybe Beta drivers?)

If it is EMI, the audio on your motherboard may be to blame (or possibly the headset itself).

To sum it up: See if the buzzing persists across a variety of games and other applications.

          Best Regards,

          Skyehawk
