Ultrabooks, or something else...

Hello

I'm looking to buy a laptop specifically an ultrabook and for now I'm thinking Asus Zenbook ux305 ultrabook which is good price for me.

However I'm concerned with the CPU for what I need this laptop for.

I need a laptop that can run a VMware Workstation 12 and run at least 2 operating systems. linux and other os., but I was wondering will this laptop's cpu bottleneck performance in the VMware if that CPU speed  is low?

 

if that's the case, then I would go whatever laptop that has at least an 8GB of RAM and a Core i5 or i7 CPU, and the laptop has to be light weight as well, so that i can carry between home and school. 

Dell XPS was also another consideration, but it's not available to the store, except their website, and I don't really want to wait for shipping.

my budget is tight like no more than $1500 or more.

 

is acer aspire s7-392 another alternative?.... I could go macbook pro. don't argue there. haha

U should looks at something like an xps 13, which is one of the best laptops of the year, and the model you would want costs around $1300 on amazon.

yeah i like that laptop too, but one of my buddies at school already have it so if i bring identical one, that'll be somewhat awkward if u know what i mean ... hahaha

asus ux303la with the i5-5200u looks like a really good option, and was the one I was going to buy before I found a £400 ($600) Macbook pro

There is Surface Book which it looks very different compare to your buddy laptop.

No it wouldn't, buy the same laptop. It's not awkward at all. How many people have macbooks? I've gone shopping with friends and bought the same shirt even!
