far cry 4 fps problem

can i go over 60 fps in far cry 4 with a 60 hz monitor ? no matter v sync is on or off fps is not showing more than 60 . what can i do ? using msi afterburner . graphics card r9 270 x .

The game is limited to 60fps because the physics are tied to the FPS

Would going above 60fps even matter when your monitor is 60hz? Why do you want it to go pass that?

If you like that then I suggest Sims 3 loading screen. You'll go to like 2000fps, so much FPS that your HDMI port on the GPU will whine in pain. LOL

you are right one time there was 2750 fps ...

i don't know what res you are gaming at but.............. find the next lowest resoltion your monitor will display and try that with vsync disabled. leave all other settings the same.
