Is my Ram Performing Correctly?

I have 2 sticks of 8 gb ram for a total of 16gb. Does my speed and frequency match what they should be?

Ram speed can be a limitation of a motherboard for example I had to OC my ram speed from the default my motherboard set it at.

Does my ram speed, frequency, and total capacity add up? Or does something seem wrong? I'm not sure if the numbers from my screen shots add up.

800MHz is really under clocked. go into the bios and set it to 1333 or 1600 at least.

You do realize that the clock speed is always half the ram speed right. Ever since double data rate (ddr) became a thing. 1600mhz ram is clocked at 800 mhz.

On topic: yes everything seems to be in order. CAS 10 is a little high for 1600 mhz ram, but won't be a major problem. Hell it won't even be noticeable.

i didnt know that.. how could ltt not mention that once in their 10s of videos on RAM.. in that case yea his ram is fine.

Yeah, I thought it was weird as well. It isn't something that is intuitive. Like how graphics ram's effective speed is 4 times the clock rate. And maybe they should do a fast as possible on memory specs and explain it there.
