So I have a limited budget, and I am going to build a new PC soon. Since I want to have 16GB of ram in the computer, which I do not have the money for it currently, I wanted to ask some questions.

If I get a single stick HyperX Fury 8GB, can I add the same other stick later on and still have the dual channel support, XMP and what not?

You can do that it will be a bit less efficient than to two sticks of RAM but Kingston's HyperX RAM doesn't have XMP options it uses a plug and play type system where it just works at the rated speed.

Absolutely! Most games nowadays run with 8GB fine.

i dont really know what xmp is, and what it really does, I just heard it's something good

is it worth getting ram that supports xmp? or it really doesn't matter?

really like the hyperx 5 year warranty and they are the same price as ballistix sport which is one of the cheapest memory here with xmp support

XMP mainly is to ensure the RAM runs at it's rated speeds especially high frequency RAM's without having to manually set it in the BIOS, the Kingston HyperX ones use the plug and play system instead of XMP so it should always just run at the rated speed without needing to adjust anything. Maybe in the rare case you may need to manually set it in but from what I've heard that's very uncommon.
