I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum but can anyone please explain me regarding bitcoins? And what is bitcoin mining? I searched on google but the terms were too complicated for me to understand :)

iirc it's basically having your computer solve increasingly complex math problems to earn this "cryptocurrency"

 

but by this point the math problems have got so complex it simply isn't worth it anymore
