Backfeed with my new headset?

It's the open back, almost as much sound goes out of the ear-cup as goes into your ears. that sound then is picked up by the mic, causing the loop. (and somewhat unfortunately the mute button on the left earcup isn't actually a toggle)

So either:

use push-to-talk.

turn up the volume for voice activation as your voice will likely be considerably louder than the bleeding sound.

turn down your headset volume.

Its open back the mic picks it up you cant do much about it

I see. Thats weird. Nothing cant be done? Sucks.

How can I tell if I gotten a defective headset btw?

Only problem I came across is that when I plug the USB sound thing that comes with the headset, a slight popping noise comes and goes when switching through youtube videos. Though when I use the extender that comes with it that has the headset and mic plugs, it stops the popping. dx
