ultrawide and 280x

Hi.  I have a MSI r9 280x 3gb.  I was really interested in an ultrawide monitor.  Could someone tell me a good  ultrawide that would go well with my card.  I like to game so I need decent framerates.  Any suggestions?

A R9 280x should be capable of light 1440p gaming and considering a 2560x1080 monitor is like 33% less intensive to run than 1440p I'd say go with one of those. You won't be hitting max settings with 60fps anymore though.

if you can play at 1440p 34" on a 380 with decent frames with minor adjustments in any particular games control panel, then yes, why not? you can always upgrade the card at a later date. the performances will be greater at less expense.
