I bought 3 one plus two type c cables for my nexus 6p. They just came in the mail and were a pretty good deal, I got 3 cables for 20$ including shipping.

I found out that they don't meet spec but will they hurt my phone? Or just the wall adapter I use to charge it with? I don't wanna risk it unless it can't hurt my phone.

I have spare wall adapters I can afford to break, but I just wanna ensure that i'm not harming my phone.

the cables are fine...

Do you have any explanation behind that? They're fine for the one plus two, but the issue occurs when devices have fast charging. One plus cut corners on their cable, essentially making it a micro b cable with a type c connector. Probably one of the biggest reasons the one plus two doesn't have quickcharge.

Read the post, I have a nexus 6p, i'm not trying to be rude, but you're making it hard.

What are the specs on the cables, and what are the specs on your Nexus 6P?

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

if you know this then why are you making the thread god damnit

Because I'm trying to ask for peoples opinions that actually know a thing or two about the topic, not someone who can't even read a post. For instance if I was asking a college algebra question I would like someone knowledgeable on that subject to help, not someone to ask me questions and things that don't change anything.

This thread was targeted at someone who knows something about electricity and if the phone can get harmed by the cord. I didn't want to get advice from two people who have less knowledge on the topic than me that barely even glanced at the thread.
