Getting a new heradsett need some help

Go to solution Solved by sobe,

The ADG1 is basically an AD700X with mic.

As far as shops and prices, AccessoryJack ships worldwide. The AD900X sells for ~$150 in the states, you can't do direct conversions on prices from one currency to another.

I do also have previous experience with them when I ordered the original AD900's back in 2010. They are based out of Hong Kong, so no taxes aside from the Customs Duty enforced by your country, and they do indeed sell legit headphones.

Hello.

I have been thinking of upgrade my headsett for a while now and have narowed it down to the Astro A 50's or the Audio-Technica ATH-ADG1.

The audio techinca is the cheapest on for me at 2200 NOK and the astros are at 2700 NOK. What is the main differense of the Audio-Technica ATH-ADG1 and Audio-Technica ATH-AG1?

Does any one have any suggestions for any other headsett? Pros and or cons for the two of them?

Thanks for the help.

max buget is about 2300 NOK or 265 USD. Might be willing to use the modmic (the antlion audio modmic V4 is 600 NOK 70 USD) and can fill the rest of the budget with the headphones, witch headphones will you recomend?

Go for the AD900X + Modmic if going AT, otherwise, Sennheiser G4ME One is an excellent choice if sticking to headset.

Otherwise with something like a modmic, going with open cans:

Beyerdynamic DT990

Sennheiser HD 558/598

Audio Technica AD900X

AKG Q701

Philips Fidelio X1

There are other choices out there such as the PSB M4U 1, but really, what kind of music do you listen to? Is absolute positional accuracy important to you?

MSI Z97M Gaming | i7-4790k | NZXT Kraken X61 | 16GB Kingston Savage DDR3 2400
EVGA GTX1080 Ti FTW3 | EVGA G2 750 | Phanteks Enthoo Evolv | 1TB 850 Evo | 2TB 860 Evo | 22TB DS918+

Just looked up the price on the AD900X and it's 3k+the cost of the mic=3600NOK 420USD, so over what i intendet by more then 1k is the extra cost worth it? + dont realy have the money for that and that was why i was looking at the ATH-ADG1. Are they not the same but with i mic on the  ATH-ADG1?

The headphones /headsett will be used for gaming only! mainy FPS games and some RPG's
