Hi guys,

Couple of months ago I did a full system overhaul, moving from SB and a 750D to x99 and a Define S. I mainly got the Define S because it was a much sleeker looking case when compared to the 750D, and I like that.

However, after building it and everything, I guess I'm feeling a bit underwhelmed. I'm not exactly sure why, but I think it is because I might have preferred going for a downsize, since I never plan to SLI and custom watercooling is far too much of an expensive pain for me.

I've been seeing a lot of Corsair 240 air builds and have really liked the look of those, but the case itself seems really limited in the GPUs it can take which is a massive pain, even moreso with an AIO in the front.

I did see the Jonsbo W2 case, and it seems to be the 240 Air but with most of the problems all fixed. Only problem is, as it is bigger, will it be that much of a downsize compared to the Define S anyway (it can fit full size ATX boards, with mms to spare, for example).

I'd go mATX in a heartbeat if it didn't seem to be such a pain in the ass, all things considered.

One final point - with Skylake moving voltage regulation back to the motherboard, is it likely that mATX will becoming a limiting factor in overclocking again? (I'm talking 4.5Ghz clocks, not extreme LN2). As, if so, then there'd be no point going mATX at all as I'd definitely want to upgrade to Skylake-E

Have you checked out the NZXT S340?

I have one, and it's very versatile for a small chassis.

I have an ATX mobo in there, and you can fit a 240 rad in the front.

There are two spots for SSD'S, and 3 HDD bays underneath the PSU shroud.

It's a nice case and has room for very long video cards because it doesn't have any hard drive bays blocking the PCI-E slots.

Isn't that a mid tower ATX chassis? Doesn't sound like there'd be much difference in size between it and the Define S.

One thing I like about the S was the fact that storage is hidden in the back - I only use two SSDs, no HDDs.

Edit: Had a look. Seems like one of those cases that are a bit too 'flashy' for me.
