Turn fancy settings of, render distance to 12, clouds off, and download optifine

what rezolution are you using?

Resolution for MC doesn't matter

It does really matter, MC at 4K uses a lot of cpu power and VRAM.

Yes. 4K has 8,294,400 pixels. And it just is true that Minecraft requires a lot of RAM for really high resolutions. Can't get around a fact.

My laptop (Asus g501) runs most games I want perfectly I run call of duty bo3 at soild 60 on lock with 0 drop. But minecraft struggles to run at 30 fps on medium settings and due to it being one of the main games I want to play it's annoying any suggestions?
