How to skip a workload/work unit?

Hi,

I'd like to help the cause again. the main reason why I stopped folding was because I had a work unit which would take my 2 980s 30 DAYS!?! I know that you shouldn't skip a WU. however I do want my GPUs to last a while. Any tips will be appreciated.

It won't take your GPU 30 days to complete a WU, wait 30 mins and the estimated time and points will have come down to well under a day, I almost guarantee it

Also folding won't harm components in any noticeable way unless they're overheating (in that case there's something very wrong if they are)
