Which SSD?

Hello Community,

 

I have decided to upgrade my storage (add a new drive).

However I do not know what type of ssd to get.

 

my two main options are sata connected ssd

or a pcie ssd

I don't think so, but I've never owned an M.2 drive so not sure.

what you could do is get 2 lower capacity drives and shove them in raid0 for a fast and large capacity drive or just get the m.2 drive

M.2 is just a form-factor, not indicator of speed

 

there is M.2 for regular SATA or M.2 in PCIE

PCIe is the one which is much much faster
