Hi,

I've tried getting F@H to work however whenever I try to connect to the web control it does a countdown from 30 to 0 and as soon as it reaches 0 it says timed out. I allowed access to public and private networks. I also managed to get the program to fold just not with a username and a team. Please help.

Reboot - also try to uninstall and re-install. Lot of times this fixes initial issues.

That didn't fix it. I also tried uninstalling then cleaning the registry with CCleaner then rebooting then reinstalling but that didn't work either. I have allowed my firewall to let F@H communicate with both local and public networks so I have no idea whatsoever what I could be doing wrong.

On that system see if you can browse to :

Can you open the Advanced View, go into the logs section and check the check mark to choose one of the slots. Copy and past the log here so I can take a look at it.

Yes the folding itself works but not the web control panel thingy. That means I can't make a username and join a team.

This is how it looks.

That's what we are here for. :)  Check the FAQ pinned in this section - has the Badge requirements and such. Basically Fold and you shall eventually get it.

I still have one last question. Is it normal that I don't show up on the stats page as a donor (not as a linusteam member) yet when I enter my passkey? Does it take 24 hours as well or is something not working?!
