I'm building a miniITX Console Killer, so you guessed it, budget is 400€

so now i want to know

which to choose?

CPU:

i3 4160

FX-4300

GPU:

HD 7950

R9 270x

R7 370

GTX 750ti

 

also, will it help much if i get 720p monitor not 1080p? I really don't care about graphics, i just want smooth gameplay

either will play games at high at 1080p60 (for the most part)

I my self would go with the FX-4300 because there are games that don't support 2 core nor 2 core with Hyper Threading. For the GPU I would go with the Radeon HD 7950

you will get IMMENSELY more performance at 720p resolution, but if your going to game at that resolution might as well buy a console... Although a lot of games are fine with dual core processors, some games refuse to work with them all together so AMD might be your best choice. Also

Most games see the i3 as a 4 core processor tho

But those games aren't locked down to 4 cores and higher. If you watched this video at around 5 mins in you will see the result for 2 core and 2core with Hyper Thrading
