receiver FINALLY works

Sigh...

 

This in infruriating.

 

OK, I have my main monitor, mini displayport to HDMI. Works fine. My secondary montior and receiver go HDMI-receiver-monitor.

When computer boots, i can see windows logo on both screens. Once windows is started and it tells me to log in, the secondary monitor no longer receiver signal, and the receiver says "no signal"

 

Ideas????
I can see the monitor in my display settings however, even though i cant see a picture on it. Also, I can see the receiver in my audio settings, but I cant play sound.

 

It works fine if I go HDMI to receiver without using pass thorugh feature.

In order to make it work I had to go-

HDMI-main monitor

Mini DP-HDMI-Receiver-secondary monitor

 

 

Now I have both monitors working fully.

Along with full 5.1 (or 7.1 if I had the speakers) audio.

 

So yeah, @JohnT, my set up finaly works

Good!

Oh yeah, I was supposed to make a guide on the receiver fix, but i forgot to take pictures, and I did a really bad soldering job. I burnt the board a little. I was surprised it works.

I need to work on my soldering...

Yeah.. Im afraid that might happen later. But ill see. HOpefully not.

Just break it again and redo it. And take pictures this time :P
