I recently bought a second hand HD4850 for $15 but my power power supply does not have pcie power.

I do not have much money. Trying to find one capable of powering my gpu. At least 450w. Thanks.

Can you buy a secondhand Seasonic or old Corsair TX or something like that?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

You'll probably just have to find an EVGA 500W PSU, given how they're perfect for budget oriented builds.

When it comes to PSUs, you don't necessarily want to go very cheap. The best route for saving money is to look at XFX PSUs. Don't go with a Corsair CX or CS PSU, they're meant for low powered office machines and aren't very reliable.

Bad idea. A cheap PSU that destroys all of your components holds much less value than a really nice one that doesn't.

I believe "reliable" would work better, but this is what I found:

Good: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371045

Reliable: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371045
