TR2 is the worst aftermarket PSU to date. I would rather you get a CX430 then that.

Get a Antec High Current Gamer

is buying a opened box psu a bad idea ? its from ncix. the psu is Thermaltake TR2 500W Power Supply for like $40 usd including tax. is this a big risk or its fine.

That PSU is really bad. Get something from XFX or the Antec High Current Gamer if you're on a budget.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
